Passionate about turning design concepts into tangible, high-quality products? We're seeking a dynamic Commercialization Technician to lead the process from prototype receipt to mass production, ensuring products meet brand standards, consumer needs, and cost targets.

 

You will:

• Spearhead the entire commercialization process: From receiving the prototype package to the start of mass production, you'll be the key driver.
• Collaborate closely with factories: Ensure timely production, resolve technical issues, and enhance efficiency.
• Conduct production trials: Evaluate functionality, quality, durability, and mass production feasibility.
• Plan and manage projects: Ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality expectations.
• Assess and confirm technical elements: From design blueprints and molds to production processes.
• Drive continuous improvement: Identify and implement new solutions to optimize the commercialization process.
• Participate in problem-solving: Provide effective solutions to ensure smooth production.
• Coach and mentor: Share your expertise and knowledge with team members.
• Travel frequently to factories: To directly oversee and drive commercialization activities.

Yêu cầu công việc

Experience: 5-10+ years in the footwear industry, particularly in product development and commercialization.

In-depth knowledge: Of footwear development, commercialization, and manufacturing processes, as well as materials and product construction.

Skills:

• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and strong relationship-building skills with partners.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Planning and time management skills.
• Proficiency in basic Microsoft Applications and PLM.
• Knowledge of leather, materials, lasts, molds, compound development, and foot anatomy is a plus.

Mindset: Proactive, detail-oriented, and a holistic approach to problem-solving.

Leadership qualities: Demonstrating the positive leadership behaviors of Deckers Brands.

Education: College degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
