Duties and Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed schedules, resource allocation, and cost projections, utilizing project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and timelines.
Break down large construction projects into manageable phases and tasks, establishing logical sequences and critical paths.
Monitor project progress against the baseline plan, identify potential delays or risks, and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
Prepare and present regular progress reports, including schedule updates, variance analysis, and potential impact assessments, to project teams and stakeholders.
Analyze contractor and subcontractor schedules and related documents for compliance with project objectives and contractual requirements.
Track and manage changes to the project schedule, ensuring proper documentation and communication to all relevant parties.
Develop and maintain resource allocation plans, ensuring efficient utilization of labor, equipment, and materials.
Work with the cost control team to integrate schedules with budget forecasts and monitor cost performance.
Conduct site visits as needed to gather progress data and verify schedule adherence.
Participate in project meetings to provide schedule insights and contribute to problem-solving.
Assist in the evaluation of potential claims for time extensions and provide schedule-related analysis.
Contribute to the development and improvement of planning and scheduling procedures and best practices within the organization.

Fluent in English
Proven experience as a planning manager (from 10 years of experience).
A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Having Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and design principles.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
Excellent understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and critical path analysis.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve schedule-related issues.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Familiarity with contract terms and conditions related to project schedules.
