BU Planning Specialist

• Monitor production of Deckers Pos, work with factory for first confirmed XF date and further update on XF date if any change. Identify potential delay risk, co-ordinate with function team in BU and Brand Ops in Planning center office to solve the issue at early stage.

• Production forecast and capacity analysis, work with factory to solve capacity issues. Secure the capacity which factory committed to Deckers in capacity report and 5-Year plan. Report to BU OM, Planning lead and Planning manager in center office if any variance from factory’s capacity report.

• Any communication from factory which impact to on-time delivery, from development stage till goods on board, including production additional molds, material delivery and issues on packaging and labeling.

• Productoin schedule tracking with WIP system, secure WIP report’s accuraccy and completion.

• Report update such as vendor scorecard, etc.

• Maintain systems update, including PLM, GTN and MFG, etc.

• Other requests from BU OM, Planning lead and Brand Planning manager.

Education & Any Certifications Required

• Bilingual in English and Mandarin, with college degree or above.

Year(s) of Experience & Background Required

• More than 3 years related experience at reputable footwear company in supply chain, merchandising and/or planning. Understand production procedure in footwear industry.
• Ability to read and analysis capacity report, monitor production report, and interprets common packing documents in footwear.
• Have strong knowledge of office software such as Word, Excel and Power Point etc, experience in PLM and GTN system is preferred. Excellent skill on excel or other tools for report and analysis are required.
• Good communication skills, between customer, factory and internal departments
• Project Management Skill and customer focus.
